怜悯之船

Contributing to a better life for people in developing countries by supporting free medical care

维护非洲的仁慈
2015年以来,the yabo体育appIHC Foundation has been supporting the charitable organisation,Mercy Ships.今年夏天,我们又派了五名志愿者到浮动医院,非洲慈悲,to assist with its annual maintenance.

Founded in 1978,Mercy Ships is an international medical relief organisation that provides free medical care in developing countries on board the largest non-governmental hospital ship in the world.

The crew of the AFRICA MERCY consists of more than 400 volunteers, from over 40 countries worldwide.每个志愿者都致力于共同努力,为非洲一些世界上最贫穷的人提供免费医疗服务,并促进当地医务人员的培训。

在船舶每年的两个月维护期内,it returns to dock from its field work in places such as Madagascar and Cameroon. At this time, yabo体育appIHC基金会支持IHC员工的旅费和住宿费用,他们愿意自愿协助维修船只。

在过去的两年里,we have sent yabo体育appIHC employees to Durban in South Africa and Las Palmas in Gran Canaria.在他们两周的逗留期间,they have undertaken various repairs including general paint jobs through to the restoration of watertight doors,通风井和驾驶室周围的“猫道”。

Joining Stefan in Gran Canaria was Beatriz de la Obra: " If I have to highlight one thing,这将是围绕着非洲怜悯的团队精神。There is a really positive atmosphere and people on board treat each other like a little family. It was a wonderful experience,我会推荐给其他人。”
